Be Creative! 

• Follow the information for creating a Black Out Poem using Google Docs, as provided by Eric Curts.
• Share your black out poetry creation with the WRHS Library (washburnrural@gmail.com) for the display of student work.
• Attend the Poetry Slam event during Club on Wednesday, April 19th in the Library to share your creation if you'd like or listen to the poetry of other students.

• Monday afternoon from 1 to 3:30 pm view the French architecture of the Governor’s Mansion.
• Play disc golf Monday evening at Lake Shawnee North at 6:15 pm. $3 for non club members
• Tuesday from 7 to 8 pm play, watch, read, write, draw and imagine all things anime!
• Bowl for only $3.99 a game from 10 am to 5 pm at West Ridge Lanes.
• Between 9 am and 5 pm visit the Brown vs. Board of Education National Historical Site.
• Play disc golf at Crestview Park at 6 pm Wednesday evening. $1 for first timers
• Explore the Combat Air Museum from 9 am to 4:30 pm.
• All you can bowl 11 am to 2 pm for $9.99 includes burger, fries & drink at Gage Bowl.
• Enjoy some art at the Mulvane Art Museum from 10 am to 5 pm.
• Listen to live music Friday or Saturday night at The Classic Bean in Fairlawn Plaza.
• Sign up in advance to volunteer Saturday afternoon at Harvesters Food Bank.
• Before Sunday, sign up to be part of the teen book discussion of How I Live Now by Rosoff at Barnes & Noble.
